Hi there! My name is Meg, and I live in Ottawa. I love to go on adventures, big and small, with my family. And I spend entirely too much time on the internet.
In my defense, I spend a lot of time trying to find cool places to go for our next adventure, and how to get there. Let alone what I should bring, how long a trail or route is, how long it will take me, if there are facilities nearby… You get it.
I love reading about trips that other people have gone on, but it’s a little frustrating when there isn’t information about the things that would help me go check out that same great spot. I want to know where a trailhead is located and how steep the path is. That’s why I’m starting Adventure Report.
Any little trek we’ve gone on that can be road tripped from the Ottawa area, gets us outside, and challenges us physically (at least a little), will be on this blog. But it’s not a blog about me. My goal is to make sure every post has enough detail so that you can decide for yourself if this is an adventure that you want to do: Trip reports with enough detail to get you there too.
